This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information that we collect when you contact us or use our services.

By providing us with your personal information you accept and consent to the practices described in this policy.

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) the data controller is Access Success and the data protection officer is Alyson Spiller.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you make an enquiry, complete an assessment or attend a support session. All the information that we collect is held securely, password protected, on our Client Assessment System. Paper files are kept in a locked filing cabinet at all times.

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you to complete your assessment and, if you agree, to contact other educational establishments. We will not pass on your information to other companies for marketing purposes and will only share it externally in order to enable us to carry out the services you have requested, for example application to Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regarding exam access arrangements via your current school/college. All reports are kept for five years in case you require another copy in the future (a small administration charge will apply). It will be your responsibility to send a copy of your diagnostic report to the Disability Officer in your Further Education/Higher Education establishment and Student Finance England.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about services of ours in which you may be interested. You will be asked for your consent to enable us to do this. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date and you have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us [email protected].

Access to your information, correction and deletion, complaints

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us as [email protected].

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and applicable to our services. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate or inappropriate at any time.

You may also complain about the way that we process your personal data.
